Eat My Dust!
That's right- Colin is now walking all over the place. He still uses his wlking toy, but he has taken some steps sans help. We take him to the mall in order to practice his new coordination. This works great because if he stumbles or falls- he doesn't eat asphalt. Also, the Cedar Hills mall is a retail ghost town so he doesn't really get in anybody's way. I can't believe how fast he walks already and how brave he is- always trying to walk down the ramp.
Along with being able to walk he now eats like a small adult. He powers through almost all the food we give him. Toaster waffles, corn-on-the-cob, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, even jicama.
On an unrelated but totally cute note this is what we are thinking about for his Halloween costume.

That little monkey costume is soo cute! This may be the last year you get him in something cute... the next 3 or 4 will be dominated by Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles, or various super heroes. ;)

Oh, it's gotta be the monkey suit. Everybody sing "I'm gonna be a monkey, a monkey monkey monkey!"
