Thanksgiving

Colin's second Thanksgiving was a blast. He slept all the way through dinner, which was actually very nice for all of us. We went to McMenamins for a buffet and it was fabulous. We still made a turkey so that we could have the yummy sandwiches. I also thought it would be a good opportunity to show you all how much he has grown since last Thanksgiving. We have lots to be thankful for this year.

Colin is officially no longer the youngest in the family. Today, he and his cousin Dylan were joined by Dylan's little sister, Katherine Elizabeth. She was born early this morning. I can't wait to get a chance to get out to New Mexico so we can all meet her in person.

Here is Colin all bundled up for a trip to the park. It rained the last couple of days so we went out and took advantage of today's nice weather. Colin has always hated wearing hats, but now that it is getting colder we can actually get him to wear one every now and then. There is a lake with a walking path at this park so there are always people there walking their dogs. A few weeks ago Colin would see the dogs and point and laugh, but he would never go up and pet them. Now when he sees them he runs towards the dogs and trys to pet them. If the owners say the dog is friendly we'll let Colin play with the dog, and he has fun patting the dogs until they lick him... then he stops laughing and trys to wipe off his face.
